Nail sharpener

Beats me. When my birds need their nails clipped (they get sharp even though there are concrete perches in front of the water dishes on each cage), Deb comes over and clips and files them for me. The filing seems to be the biggest help, but I'm really not sure if that would deter a bird who deliberately sharpens her own nails.

Banjo does not sharpen nails but I have a problem getting them all blunt at the same time. I don't want to towel her so I can only clip when she is ready to offer her feet, only one nail.

I have a sun conure that sharpens nails, they do get blunt again from the perches. Some of the sun sharpen beaks on the perches, but might be part of the display in breeding season.
