Gosh, those sound healthy and can't find anything in them that would be bad for birds as well as dogs. Wonder if anyone has tried them for their birds.

Yum! Those sound great and Ruby certainly could use whiter teeth! If she didn't like them I think I would with my tea. I give my dogs chicken strips that are just slices of chicken. Sort of like beef jerky. They also have ones made from sweet potatoes and I have wondered if Ruby would like those. They are "hard" though and she isn't big on crispy or hard stuff. She just throws those things in her water dish. Silly goose!

I have tried a few dehydrated sweet potato treats with zero success. As they are nearly a raw hide texture, I think they are simply to hard to be thought of as food (atleast to my lazy flock). I would love to find one that my birds like, as sweet potato's are an excellent source for loads of good stuff, and they don't like it fresh.

I'm going to try some of the Biscotti biscuits. My two do like their pellets, so I think they would like them. I agree that the dehydrated Sweet Potatoes look like they would be a really hard rawhide texture, so I'm going to skip those.

Yellow dock is a weed/herb. Does anyone know anything about it's safety for Parrots?

I found this site that gives a thumbs up for herbs and mentions Yellow Dock.
