I added new birds a few years ago. My 2nd bird was an "awwww....come to mama" purchase and hopeful that my standoffish too would see the attention that you get when you act nice and extend yourself. This worked to some extent w/the too, but Serita, no words to describe...just a beautiful light. I added 2 more a little later and there have been jealousy issues, but nothing awful. Everyone has separate play spaces, they don't play well with each other and the few times that someone has done the unauthorized TDY to someone else's space, it requires intervention. The quarantine was a tad complicated, but I put the newbies in a back bedroom for 3mos, vet visits, yadda yadda....and everyone today is moderately happy. It is just important that everyone have a similar amount of out of the cage time and direct mama time. Hopefully the current home will work out, but with good planning the possible new addition should work out fine.
